Under the direction of the Executive Chef, plans and supervises daily operations of the kitchen to provide a positive guest experience and quality products (menu items/offerings). Will be responsible for all duties of the Executive Chef in his absence. Responsible for maintaining quality levels, cleanliness, sanitation, safety and customer service standards.

Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures
Ensure prompt and discrete notification to management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations
Show a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discretely notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations
Bilingual (English and/or Haitian Creole) desired.
Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience.
Ability to develop knowledge of computer systems, both company and vendor provided, to a proficient level.

Requires formal training and accreditation from an accredited culinary institute with one or two years food productions experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
Ability to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures.
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to complete standard Seminole Tribe of Florida forms and reports.
Must be able to perform simple numerical calculations.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to walk and sit.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Will be exposed to casino related factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise, large crowds and stress related to servicing guests in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
Must hold a current Food Handling Certificate.
The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
